Zardari sends Rs10bn notice to Imran over ‘false’ murder claim

KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has sent a Rs 10 billion legal notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. for making “baseless accusations” against former President Asif Ali Zardari.

In the notice, Zardari blamed Khan of harming the teaching staff reputation and slander him after former prime minister accused former the president of pay the terrorists and hatch a new plan together with people in intelligence agencies kill him “after a previous attempt failed”.

Khan, during virtual press conference from his residence in Zaman park area of Lahore said there were three of them. more names along with Zardari who are part of of this is new plot.

“Now they have made Plan C, and Asif Zardari behind this is. He has enough amount of corruption money which he robs in sindh government and spend on election victory. He gave money terrorist outfit and people from powerful agencies help him. It was agreed on three fronts and they will act soon”, he asserted.

“I am telling you [the people] it’s because if something happens to me, nation should know in people who we behind this is so that the nation will never forgive them,” Khan said.

The notice claimed that Khan’s actions caused “severe agony, mental stress and loss of reputation for Zardari, and demanded that the khan issue an unconditional apology within 14 days, or face Court proceedings for damage.
