SWAT: Thousands of people took to the streets in Matchmaker valley on Friday against recent wave of militancy in in arearequiring action against terrorists in Charbag Tehsil.
Protesters gathered at Charbag Chowk, in Charbag city and chanted slogans against recent wave of militancy and terrorism. They demanded government take decisive action against villains, threatening that otherwise they will be forced to march on federal capital.
prominent place among participants were provincial head of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Amir Mukam, Olasi Pasun, President Fawad Khan, ANP District President Ayub Khan Ashari, District Bar President Mushtaq Khan, JUI(F) Leader Hilal Danish, Jamaat-e-Islami Navid Leader Khan, veteran politician Mukhtar Khan Yusufzai and other elders of Matchmaker.
Amir Mukam said that the Federal government took note of recent terror attacks and will take each possible step for restoration of world. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered law enforcement to maintain law and order at all times. cost and save the world in in valley. “We will not tolerate extremism and terrorism, no matter cost”, Amir Makam said, adding that people of Swat were peaceful and he supported them in every situation.
