ISLAMABAD:

Federal Council of Revenue (FBR) has not completed the order yet of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Dr. Muhammad Asif Jha for returning to senior taxpayer funds that were returned at the expense of bank blocking of the account by Islamabad RTO.

When contacted, tax lawyer Waheed Shahzad Butt told this correspondent that after the violation of 11 months after appointment of Dr. Jah as FTO, field formations of FBR treat its like former tax employee and his orders were ignored, especially when there is issue of returning taxpayer money in in shape of returns.
