Saudi Aramco topped the list of the world’s largest companies in the distribution of cash dividends, as its dividends exceeded the amount of the next five largest companies in the ranking.
Bloomberg Intelligence said Aramco’s payments to the Saudi Arabian government and other investors totaled $75.80 billion in 2022, and payments could increase by more than $20 billion this year.

Oil giant Saudi Aramco announced yesterday that its first-quarter profit was $31.88 billion, up from $39.47 billion in the same quarter last year.
The company blamed the drop in its profits this year on the decline in global oil prices. Aramco made a profit of $30.73 billion in the fourth quarter of last year.
