King’s Cross Station: Man arrested for trying to pull woman onto tracks

A man was arrested after allegedly trying to drag a woman onto the railroad tracks at King’s Cross tube station.

While the woman was “shocked up but unharmed, the man was hit by train during the incident, the British Transport Police (BTP) said. on Monday.

Emergency services rushed to Hammersmith and City Line on busy London station just until 13:30.

“It is believed that the man tried to pull the woman onto the rails before he hit by train himself,” said a spokesman for BTP Standard.

“The woman, fortunately, was not hurt, but understandably shocked. up.

“Although the investigation into the incident is at an early stage, it is unlikely that the two were acquainted with each other.”

The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken to the hospital for appeal to head injury.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “Today we were called at 13:32 to report what had happened. of a person hit by train at Kings Cross tube station, Euston Road.

“We sent a number of to the scene of the incident, including an ambulance team, a doctor in a fast response car incident response officer and members of our dangerous area response team (HART). We also posted injury team in a car from London Air Ambulance.

“We assisted the man at the scene and took them to a major trauma center as a matter of priority.”

Incident caused serious delays on Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines.

Now it is good service on Hammersmith & City Line and minor delays on Circle line, according to Transport for London (TFL).
