Quetta: Balochistan cabinet on Monday approved Rs 200 increase in 2200 rupees support price of Wheat bag 40 kg ensure the best prices for farmers.
Now support price of 40 kg wheat in Balochistan will cost 2400 rupees.
Cabinet meeting presided over Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo instructed the food department to purchase wheat. on emergency basis in accordance with the wheat procurement plan prepared by the food department.
Cabinet also aimed at taking strict measures against wheat keepers and also coordinated design of Court complex on Sariab Road.
Cabinet set up a special committee at hand over 170 water supply schemes of Quetta area in WASA and in ensure nutrition of drinking water in other areas of provinces.
The Provincial Cabinet passed important laws, including the Balochistan Food Authority Regulations 2022, the Human Rights Policy 2021, the Balochistan Child Marriage Prohibition Act 2021, and the Balochistan Workers Wages Act 2020 ., and also approved an amendment to the Regulations on Mines, Oil Fields and the Development of Mineral Resources (State Control).
