Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif observed on sunday what granting of transit visas for Afghan citizens “will be help them complete paperwork for further journey.
“New Afghan visa policy our government is a part of our efforts to continue helping our Afghan brothers and sisters in their hour of need”, wrote the prime minister.

The day before the chapter of Prime Minister’s Strategic Reform Initiatives Salman Sufi said the prime minister approved new transit visa policy for Afghan immigrants.
Taking note of Problems faced Afghan citizens and illegal immigration, prime minister agreed to new policy of release of on-arrival- A visa for Afghan citizens traveling abroad through Pakistan, the Prime Minister’s press office said. in Press release.
On his Twitter account Sufi posted”Taking into account of questions faced citizens of Afghanistan at the request of Rana Sanaullah, Prime Minister Shahbaz approved on arrival visa for Afghan refugees who need to pass through [through] Pakistan to get to the destination country that approved their immigration.”
The Sufi further said that under new policygovernment of Pakistan will issue 30 Day Transit Visas for Afghan Citizens within 24 hours.
Those countries who granted immigration to Afghan citizens could apply for transit visas from Pakistan added.
