Plot of The Marvels

The following is what the film’s synopsis says Marvel Studios have issued:

In the television series ‘The Marvels,’ produced by Marvel Studios, Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, returns her identity after it was stolen by the oppressive Kree and exacted her vengeance on the Supreme Intelligence. However, due to unexpected consequences, Carol is forced to bear the responsibility for an unstable cosmos. Her powers become intermingled with those of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, now known as Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, when her responsibilities bring her to an odd wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary to rescue the universe as ‘The Marvels,’ an unlikely trio has to work together and figure out how to interact effectively.

The film’s storyline will explain the three characters’ connection to one another. It will bring them all together to solve the mystery. Even though Carol and Monica have known each other since the first movie, which took place when Rambeau was still a child, it is still unclear how they are related. The film will bring together these up-and-coming superheroes as they work together to take down the next supervillain. We are aware that the story is kicked off by a piece of lore shown in Ms. Marvel, particularly a second bangle very similar to the one that triggered Kamala’s abilities. The comic book antagonist Dar-Benn, who wears this bangle on his wrist, is a character that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created. Despite this, director Nia DaCosta has made it abundantly clear that the Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptation of Dar-Benn is not at all like the books. In this interpretation, we all know that Dar-Benn is a Kree imperialist who despises Carol for some unknown reason.
