Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed the authorities concerned to ensure uninterrupted supply of natural gas to domestic and industrial consumers in winter.
Presiding over the meeting in Lahore on On Saturday, he sent the authorities concerned set up a committee to resolve in issue of gas supply faced textile factories. Representatives of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and Sui Southern Gas Company will become part of of Committee.
It was also decided in meeting to maintain duration of power load shedding current level.
Prime Minister also gave instructions for a further increase in imports of fertilizer to meet the needs for month of January.
Finance Minister Ishak Dar, Minister of State for Petroleum Musadiq Malik, Adviser to the Prime Minister Ahad Cheema and others government officials attended the meeting.
