Imran was arrested in case Al Qadeer Trust, in what was he accused of of corruption, from the premises of Islamabad High Court on Tuesday afternoon before he was due to attend the hearing of two other cases.

Meanwhile, the IHC considered him arrest within the law, but today the Supreme Court ruled that Imran arrest was “illegal” and ordered the authorities to leave him at the Police Lines guest house. in Islamabad, but under the supervision of the court as a “guest” until his speech at the VVK tomorrow.

Responding to development, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif spoke at a press conference in Islamabad, emphasizing “double standards of justice”.

He began by recalling that PML-N High Representative Nawaz Sharif and several others party leaders and workers were arrested in V past.

“But why weren’t they treated in this kind of court? This good treatment reserved only for Imran Khan on on a selective basis? he asked. “They never thought of […] preservation us in rest house. Why is there double standards in this country?”

For this reason, protection minister also referred to the video of Imran released before his arrest.

“In his video message, published before his arrest […] didn’t Imran incite and preach violence in This?

“And what was result of is this violence?

PML-N leader blamed PTI protesters of attack on the graves of martyrs and military installation. “These graves were desecrated, and the army buildings and the residence of the corps commander in Lahore is under attack.”

He argued that the court should noted suo motu of these questions.

“But no suo motu was adopted, and the judiciary was not concerned. However, the person (Imran) was respectfully transferred to rest house.

“The Supreme Court made sure that he was given all the conditions and allowed to meet with 10 people [at the guest house].

“My only question is why these double standards?

In this regard, he also referred to audio clips allegedly featuring PTI leaders during the protests.

“You’ve seen and heard […] what PTI leaders were saying to their supporters and language they used and how they burned [properties].

“Wasn’t it attack on national safety? Was it not hostility to the country? Shouldn’t it be noted of? Is not it move court?”

Before Asif and the Sun’s decision on Imran arrest, one of defense minister peers from PML-N Marriyum Aurangzeb also spoke at a press conference in Islamabad, expressing similar views.

She began by talking about the protests, claiming that “several hundred armed demonstrators and terrorists are attacking” the country and state property.

She claimed that these groups were “installed” in certain places as part of of plan and that they were “launched soon after news of V arrest”.

To give strength to her claim, she referred to audio clips purporting to contain voices of PTI leaders incite party workers to attack characteristics.

“You’ve seen everything how PTI leaders incited violence and gave orders for attacks on Imran Khan’s directives,” she said.

Moreover, she quoted the IHC order, emphasizing that Imran arrest carried out in in a legal way.

“But the impression of The Supreme Court acquitted the criminalterrorist and gangster leading armed groups is tantamount to supporting terrorists,” she denounced.

She also said that several PML-N leaders faced arrests and raids in V past but no one raised any issue. ‘Cause everything of that was done in support of ladla (beloved child)” who showed disrespect to the SC.

Direct contact with the boss justice of Pakistan, she said, “If this romance ended back now then chief justice sahib, the court would not disrespect way it’s happening today.

“Court is not respected when they become shelters for criminals, terrorists and armed groups. Courts, Constitution and justice then they are not respected. The courts don’t respect when they decisions support criminals.”

She argued that if the court back “terrorists” and “armed groups” who “set my country on fire, then everyone else deserves this indulgence.”

Aurangzeb further warned that if a person against ” people of Pakistan, policemen… and army officers – who pick up weapon for for the sake of of country, state and nation – relief is given, then this country will burn.

She added”He works on V media, on social media that a man took the country hostage for V past three days… he incites violence… and you ask how can he be arrested?

“You are taking up cause of his arrest but not his corruption case.”

Aurangzeb asked when Nawaz and his family were held accountable, why couldn’t Imran.

“What kind of love affair and favoritism is this?”

She said the court should let Imran answer to the National Accountability Bureau – in whose custody Imran was taken into custody in Al Qadeer Trust case instead of calling him.

“This is the notion that results in contempt of courts and positions.
