PM thanks Guterres and Erdogan for strong protection of Pakistan flood relief action on UN platform

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed his gratitude to UN Secretary General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. for strongly in favor of need for urgent collective action in commemoration of massive floods in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, World Bank Group President David Malpass and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Ms. Karistalina Georgieva called separately. on Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

During the meetings held on aside of 77th session of UN General Assembly, the two sides discussed economic issues faced Pakistan with special mention of the situation after the devastating floods in country.
