Pakistan to strengthen mutual cooperation with EU member states with headquarters on common interests: COA

ISLAMABAD: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, chief of Army personnel (COAS) on Thursday said Pakistan appreciates its reports with European Union (EU) countries and look sincerely forward to strengthen mutual cooperation based on common interests.

The COA who is on a official visit in Belgium expressed these views during his meetings with Mr. Stefano Sannino, Secretary General of the European External Action Services (EEAS) and General Claudio Graziano, president of the EU Military Committee.

During the meetings it counts of mutual interest, general regional security situation, including current situation in Afghanistan and bilateral relations with The EU was discussed.

EU dignitaries appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts for pace and stability in the region and is committed to play their role for greater collaboration with Pakistan at all levels.
