ISLAMABAD: Against the backdrop of consultations over formation of a new federal cabinet in led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the MMK-P decided not to be part of of This is, News reported.

With decision already transferred prime MQM-P minister organizer Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that his party discussed the formation of in new cabinet with leaders of coalition partners in detail.

He said that MQM-P more interested in implementation of obligations made through coalition partners for welfare of Karachi and other areas of provinces.

“The obligations are significant, which need be fulfilled,” Siddiqi said.

However, the politician comment on former Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar’s remarks where he took exception for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for not to mention obligations with MQM-P in his first speech as premier in National Assembly.

MQM-P had two slots of federal cabinet in exiled government of PTI. Syed Aminul Haq was IT minister while Senator Farog Nazim was a law minister representing MQM-P in in government.

Sources say that two slots have been proposed for the MQM-P. in federal government government of Sindh and about half a dozen slots in Sindh cabinet next to municipality of three big cities of province including Karachi City Hall but no decision no decision has yet been made about taking on these assignments.
