11 law enforcement recruits injured this morning run in Whittier

Whittier, California. – BUT group of law enforcement recruits in critical condition after they hit on car in the morning run in Whittier, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported at 6:30 am near the intersection. of Mills Avenue and Telegraph Road. Recruits attend the Sheriff’s Training Academy and Center for Regional Services (STARS) located in block 11500 of Colima Road, about a mile long with half from crash website.
Whittier is 20 miles southeast of of downtown Los Angeles.
Authorities confirmed driver passed sobriety test and was taken into custody. results of sobriety test are unknown.
SkyFOX was over the scene and showed debris from the wreckage, as well as additional patients being examined by medical personnel.
