LAHORE: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released medium and high level data. flood anxiety in The Chenab River, since about 250,000 cubic seconds of water is likely pass through Khed Maral against 88,000 pieces in time last 24 hours.

Sources said over two inches of rain in catchment area of The Chenab River during last 24 hours led to the release of flood anxiety.

Similarly, they added water consumption in The Ravi River is likely to rise to 40,000 cu. current job title of 20,000 pieces. Medium to high flooding expected in The Chenab River at Marala and Khanki during next 24 hours and in Kadirabad after 24 hours. Flooding is moderate to high also expected in nulls of The Ravi and Chenab rivers during next 48 hours.

A flash flood is also expected in rivers / nulls of The Kohat, Bannu and D.I. Khan along with Flooding expected in Mianwali area and city in Sindh and flash floods expected in rivers/nulls of Balochistan and mountain streams of DG Khan Division from 11 to 14 August.

Meanwhile, according to them, the Tarbela and Mangla dams have reached 92.9% and 34% of them total level of conservation so far.

According to the PMD, intense monsoon activity is likely to continue. over Sindh, Balochistan along with Divisions Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, D.G. Khan and Multan from 12 to 14 August. Scattered thunder/rain of moderate intensity expected over rest of country from 12 to 14 August. Meanwhile, city of Lahore also was a witness good spelling of rain on Thursday and more most likely to take place during next a week.
