“Please help us bring that war hero home” Macintosh wrote.
“Our brother bravely volunteered to go to (Ukraine) as a doctor to help save lives in this war-torn country.
“In line of dutywhile helping others, he lost his life. This selfless man currently stuck in morgue in Ukraine and no help to get it home.”
She said it would cost about £4000 to bring it body back to the UK.
“We spoke with international funeral service provider and he’s going cost around £4,000 towards his repatriation back to the UK.
“He gave his life to save others and he needs to come back home get the service he deserves. BUT true service of the hero surrounded by him family and friends. Please help bring our hero home.”
As of On Wednesday night, GoFundMe exceeded its goal by raising £4,590.
