ISLAMABAD: PTI Secretary General Asad Umar said that during his communication with people during the party a long march from him met thousands of people and saw hope in them eyes but it is sad that the corrupt elite enrich themselves on their cost.
“We needed a country that was no one’s slave and where the institutions were no more than a nation.”
Using his Twitter account, Umar wrote an emotional note saying: “In last 10 days in 2nd phase of long march, I had the honor of interaction with thousands of people. Saw their amazing spirit of generosity, sincerity of their affection, hope in them eyes. It is truly a tragedy that the corrupt elite exploited them and enriched themselves.”
“To make dreams come true of these people we need country that takes its toll decisions and obeys no one. Country in what all power flows from it [sic] citizens. Country in which people are no more than institutions, and institutions are no more than a nation.
Fawad blames the federal government for state of affairs
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry held a federal government responsible for in current state of affairs in country. On Twitter, he stated that there was a “52 percent increase in terrorist attacks after Operation Regime Change.
He claimed that government ceased to allocate funds to the tribal territories, which should were a priority. He lamented that he was drowning economy and disadvantage of management brought more destruction for Pakistan.
