New notification from Xbox Series X indicates support for VR glasses. This is reported by IGN Italia.
‘The VR headset must be updated ‘, is the message that the platform itself encountered when connecting the new Xbox Wireless Headset via a USB cable. When agreeing to the update the console will say ‘an update for the vr headset is available’ and then give the option ‘update vr headset’.
It is still unclear whether Microsoft will actually support VR glasses. Early last year, Xbox head Phil Spencer indicated that support for the platform was considering .
“I hope Fri stays, I hope it gets bigger” Spencer said at the time. “I hope it becomes so important that we support it without thinking.”
Microsoft has not yet responded to the messages.
