Square Enix and PlatinumGames have revealed nine minutes of Nier Replicant gameplay.
The footage shows the Barren Temple, a location revealed in-game after the local sandstorm settles down and features various puzzles and platforming segments. In addition to protagonist NieR, the character Kainé is also shown and the video goes deeper into the renewed combat system.
Kidney Replicant is being developed by Toy Logic. The game will include re-voiced voices and a re-recorded soundtrack by composer Keiichi Okabe.
Two versions of Nier: Nier Gestalt were released on Xbox in 2010. 360 and Kidney Replicant on PlayStation 3. The latter version never came out in the West.
Kidney Replicant will be released April 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
