That developer inXile reveals Entertainment in a blog post . The expansion focuses on a factory complex called Steeltown in Colorado. All kinds of vehicles, robots and weapons are manufactured in this factory.
Because everything goes wrong in Steeltown, a group of Rangers decides to investigate. Once arrived, the group learns that the complex is in chaos and that bandits regularly raid the factory. The people revolt against the factory and Abigail Markham, leader of the factory.
By exploring the grounds of Steeltown alone or with friends, players will have to decide whose side they are on. Furthermore, a number of new mechanics are added to the game, such as elemental shields and non-lethal weapons.
Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown will be released on June 3 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
