Three young men were killed on Wednesday evening under the wheels of a train while crossing the railway lines in the village of Al-Wasifiya, affiliated to the Abu Sawyer district in the Egyptian governorate of Ismailia. The residents tried to collect the body parts of the victims, covered the bodies, and notified the police.
In detail, the Director of Ismailia Security received a notification from the Ismailia Ambulance Facility that 3 young men were killed under the wheels of the train in Abu Sawyer Center, and 3 ambulances headed to the scene of the accident. The bodies of the youths were taken to the Al-Qassaseen Central Hospital morgue.
Eyewitnesses added to Egyptian media that the villagers tried to collect the body parts of the young men after the train passed and covered the bodies, but they could not identify their hobby.
They also confirmed that the 3 young men were taking memorial photos of themselves and insisted on the appearance of the train in the background, and they kept taking pictures, until the train ran over them in the absence of them. The witnesses pointed out that the train was not able to stop suddenly.
To this, their fourth colleague warned them of the danger of approaching the train while they were taking pictures, and he jumped quickly from the train tracks, and was transferred to the hospital.
