Tencent has unveiled the survival game Undawn. The game should be released for mobile platforms and PC this year.
Undawn contains an open world where players have to survive between zombies and other players. Fighting, crafting and building shelters are key gameplay elements.
Undawn is made by Tencents Lightspeed & Quantum Studios, developer of PUBG Mobile.
“With Undawn, we wanted to create a new type of action game that combines open world freedom with RPG elements that redefine the genre,” said producer Rick Li. According to Li, the game has the potential to become a “ massive new open world experience. ”
It is not yet known if Undawn will support crossplay between mobile and PC.
