Pakistani army soldier martyred on Wednesday in exchange of fire between troops and terrorists in Isham of North Waziristan area, according to a statement released by the military media wing.
In a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the soldier was identified as 28-year-old sepoy Asmatullah Khan. who was a resident of Mianwali. The statement said he fought “valiantly”.
“Sanitation of in area bear out eliminate any terrorists found in in area. The Pakistani army is determined to destroy menace of terrorism and similar victims of our brave soldiers further strengthening our resolve,” the ISPR said in a statement.
On Tuesday, an army major and a soldier were killed in a firefight, and two terrorists were also killed. of fire between members of security forces and group of terrorists in birmal area of Tribal area of South Waziristan.
Previously on March 30, eight security personnel including the army captain were tortured and seven terrorists were killed in clashes between security forces and members of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in Tank region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as the tribal region of South Waziristan.
