A few days ago, a big announcement took place when the makers of Prabhas’ next big-screen spectacle, Salaar, welcomed Shruti Haasan on board as the film’s leading lady. The news was broken on Shruti Haasan’s birthday itself, making the moment double special for both the actress and her fans. Prabhas himself had welcomed the birthday girl, by taking to his official Twitter handle and writin: “Happiest Birthday Shruti Haasan! Looking forward to working with you on #Salaar .” Check out his post below:

Later, Shruti opened about how ecstatic she is for bagging the film and acting opposite Prabhas in an interview with Bombay Times, where she said, “I’m super excited to be a part of this project. It’s a great team and I’m looking forward to working with Prabhas as well. As always, what drew me to the role was the character I get to portray. Her flow in the larger narrative is interesting and I’m excited to bring her to life.”
Well, we can certainly understand her excitement, can’t we?
