A Team of Moscow Specialists Develops Innovative Heart Restart Device
A team of Moscow specialists has developed a device for restarting the heart in intensive care, which has advantages over foreign devices, since it can operate from two batteries and remotely, and can also be supplied to ambulances.
Improving Patient Survival Rates
This device can increase the survival rate of patients, Sobyanin said in his blog on the Telegram channel.
He said: “In Moscow, an automatic device has been developed to restart the heart and resuscitate the patient. The device indirectly massages the heart, freeing the doctors’ hands to perform other operations to save the patient. Our experts confirm that this innovation will improve the effectiveness of treatment, patient survival, and improving the quality of medical care in the Russian capital and throughout Russia.”
Advantages Over Foreign Systems
Sobyanin added that the device has no equal in Russia and has many advantages that give it preference over foreign systems. These advantages include being lighter in weight because it is made of modern materials, running on two electric batteries, and requiring only 20 seconds to install.
Versatile Use
The mayor of Moscow noted that the device can be used both in ambulances and in medical institutions.
He said: “In the near future, Moscow doctors plan to connect this device remotely to the artificial lung ventilation system, thus creating a unique resuscitation complex.”
