That’s what made Masahiro Sakurai, director of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, known during a special live stream .
In addition to the release date announcement, Sakurai also revealed a new map for the game. The new map offers players the opportunity to battle in one of Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s best-known environments, the Cloud Sea of Altrest.
The pair count as one fighter with the same moves, but with different appearances. The biggest difference is that Mythra hits faster and Pyra hits harder. In total, sixteen color combinations are possible for the characters.
The duo can be downloaded separately from today, but is also part of Fighters Pass 2. Previous characters who have already appeared in the second Fighters Pass include Min Min from Arms, Steve from Minecraft and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7.
