Paresh Rawal tested positive for COVID-19 despite taking first vaccine shot

The latest celebs to test positive for the coronavirus are Paresh Rawal and Sachin Tendulkar. Paresh Rawal informed people on social media that he has tested positive for the virus. Now, he had taken the first dose of the vaccine some days before. He tweeted, “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.” The veteran actor is flooded with messages from his fraternity. People like Ashoke Pandit and Anupam Kher wished him a speedy recovery. A day before him, Milind Soman also tested positive for the virus. He had taken his first shot some days back. He thanked scientists and COVID warriors as he got his first vaccine shot. Paresh Rawal was last seen in the movie, Soorarai Pottru. Dear media #PareshRawal had received one dose (the initial one) – it is not apt to say that he was vaccinated. Vaccination involves two doses within the stipulated timeframe – 6-8 weeks.
