New generation of C3 Aircross comes with a new style and an improved infotainment system
Citroën unveiled the revamped C3 Aircross that gained a more assertive design, more comfort and new levels of technology.
With almost 330,000 copies sold since its launch in late 2017, the new generation of the C3 Aircross affirms SUV character through a voluminous body that offers space on board and a dominant posture on the road, thanks to the elevated ground height and the large wheels.
The new luminous signature stands out on the front. The double chevron evolves and expands towards LED projectors, in the spirit of the new C3 or C4, but with a more muscular interpretation.
The C3 Aircross it also has a new grid with an unprecedented geometric motif and a new lower protection in silver gray with colored inserts that reinforce its robustness.
on its wheels and with a high, horizontal hood, with generous volumes and with 360 ° protections that combine with the glazed area, the new C3 Aircross has a pronounced look.
Citroën offers with the new C3 Aircross, a wider customization, which has 70 combinations of exterior colors possible thanks to the seven body colors, three of which new, Kaki Gray, Voltaic Blue and Blanc Banquise.
In addition, two roof colors, as well as four color packs that include original colored inserts located in thefront ends of the door sills, mirror covers and custody windows, among other details.
The C3 Aircross is equipped with new wheels with a more evolved and dynamic design, in 16 ” and 17 ” sizes, both available in glossy or full black finish, to allow you to choose between a more refined or stronger aspect.
Inside, Citroën offers four distinct ‘environments’, each with its own identity to respond to all tastes, which change the color and materials used.
The two most distinct options (Metropolitan Graphite and Hype Gray) bring with them the new Citroën characteristic topstitch, which translates into a series of stylized chevrons.
The C3 Aircross becomes the latest model of the French brand to present the Advanced Comfort seats, which made their debut in the C5 Aircross, and which were designed to improve the comfort of their occupants and which are equipped with 15 mm more foam and a new structure.
The new C3 Aircross also has a sliding rear seat, with maximum adjustment of 150 mm, according to two independent sections, in addition to allow the front passenger seat to fold down so that it can carry longer objects, up to a maximum of 2.40 m.
The luggage compartment is 410 liters, and can reach 1,289 liters with the rear seats folded.
Still inside, the infotainment system is equipped with a touch-sensitive screen. 9.0-inch touch that features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard.
The new C3 Aircross features 12 driving-assist technologies, with head- up color display, to keep useful information always in the driver’s field of view, recognition of speed and recommendation traffic signals, the A system ctive Safety Brake or automatic light switching.
In addition, equipment that simplifies use, such as hands-free access, Park Assist or Top Rear Vision parking aid camera, which allows you to reproduce the perimeter behind the vehicle on the touchscreen.
When it comes to engines, the new C3 Aircross is available with a range of PureTech gasoline engines with 110 and 130 hp of power, while diesel engines have the BlueHDi block with 110 and 120 hp of power. Both variants have a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Citroën revealed that the new C3 Aircross will reach the national market from next June. .
