Microsoft: 'xCloud for PC and iOS not far away'

Microsoft will soon bring cloud gaming service Project xCloud to PC and iOS platforms. So says platform vice president Kevin LaChapelle in a video.

“We’ve already announced that we’ll be bringing xCloud to iOS and PC early this year,” said LaChapelle. “I’m not going to give a specific date yet, but it’s not far off.”

Also, Kareem Choudhry says the rollout to current platforms, iOS and pc is ‘just the beginning’. Earlier, Phil Spencer reported thinking about support for smart televisions. “I think you’ll see that in the next twelve months. Nothing can stop us from doing that.”

Currently Project xCloud is part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The video below explains the technique further.
