“Ultimate Fighting Championship” (UFC) wrestler Coror McGregor has been banned from fighting for the next six months, confirmed the media “MMM.tv”. He will not be allowed to fight because he suffered a leg injury in a recent duel against Dastin Porier and the ban is for medical reasons.
Conor McGregor was medically suspended for six months after UFC 257, via the official recordkeeper https://t.co/PEuEV8qNFS. He can be cleared earlier by a doctor with a negative X-Ray of his tibia / fibula. However, he has a mandatory 45-day suspension (30-day no contact) for the TKO loss.

It has already been reported that McGregor (22-5) was slaughtered in the second round last weekend in Pori (27-6), causing the Irishman the fifth loss of his career. McGregor suffered a right lower leg bone injury that was severe enough for him to be banned from fighting for the next six months.
The 32-year-old McGregor was spotted cruising after a fight in Abu Dhabi, but has now confirmed that he will not be able to fight until the end of July, according to doctors. In Tikme, Porier avoided injuries and received only a seven-day mandatory rest period, which is given to all UFC athletes after a fight.
If McGregor’s X-ray results improve after 45 days, he will be able to return sooner. He must also follow a 30-day regimen without contact training. Although McGregor received severe blows to his head, he avoided serious injuries to this part of the body.
