Here is some good news for all fans of Mollywood superstar Mammootty. He will be seen in the movie, Puzhu with actress Parvathy Thiruvothu. The film will be directed by Ratheena Sharshad. Mammootty launched the film on his official page of Facebook along with his wishes for Women’s Day. The film is a joint venture between S George’s Cyn Cyl Celluloid and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films. The screenplay of the film is by Harshad, Sharfu and Suhas. This is also the first collaboration between Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan. While he is the main protagonist, Dulquer Salmaan is the producer of the film.
Actress Parvathy is known for her candid opinions on social media. In 2017, fans of Mammootty did not like her views on his film, Kasaba. Her statements were misconstrued and she got a lot of hate from fans of the superstar. In 2019, the trolling stopped after Mammootty launched the audio of Parvathy’s film Uyare. Ratheena was also in the film. In his career, Mammootty has worked with a number of debutantes. It seems Puzhu will release in various languages across South India. The movie will soon go on floors.
Theni Eshwar who has worked in films like Peranbu, Karnan Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, and Paavai Kadhagal has been brought on board as the cinematographer. The music is by Jakes Bejoy and the editing is done by Deepu Joseph. Earlier, it was said that even Tovino Thomas would be a part of the film but it seems that it not the case. Ratheena has been working in the industry for quite some time now. She was an assistant of Revathy.
