ISLAMABAD: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday ordered the authorities to release Shirin Mazari, senior vice president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who was re-arrested hours after gaining freedom in violent protest case against 9th May arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.
According with decree, Mazari, former journalist, was ordered to give an affidavit to the Deputy Commissioner, promising her “non-involvement in any future violent action.”

After being released from custody on On 17 May, by order of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Mazari was once again arrested on the same day by the Punjab Police. It became the third arrest for Mazar.
According to official data, Mazari was detained women personnel of article 4 police of service of Public order (PLO).
Confirmation of her arrest Mazari daughter Iman Mazari, took on Twitter, stating “They (the police) took her again”.
