North American brand accelerates towards a fully electric future in Europe
Ford has announced that it intends to make is a fully electric brand in Europe by 2030.
The North American brand’s plan for green mobility also predicts that by mid-2026, 100% of its range of passenger cars in Europe is equipped with 100% electric engines.
Ford’s range of commercial vehicles in Europe will also have the ability to achieve zero emissions in 2024, integrating fully electric and plug-in hybrid models, which according to Ford, in 2030 will represent two thirds of sales.
