Young and promising hero Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas recently delivered a big big hit with Rakshasudu, which was official Telugu remake of Tamil movie cult hit, Ratsasan. His next two films will also be remakes. Bellamkonda is making his Bollywood debut with Chatrapathi. The remake will be directed by VV Vinayak under Pen Studios banner. The film’s commencement has been delayed due to second wave of coronavirus. A huge set was erected in Hyderabad for first schedule of the film, but now it lies vacant till the cast and crew can begin shooting once the situation returns to a semblance of normalcy. After wrapping Chatrapathi, the young actor will be stepping into the shoes of Kollywood star Dhanush in the official Telugu remake of Karnan.
Yes, you hear that right: Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas will be starring in the remake of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Tamil film, Karnan, which was a sensational hit at box office, having fortunately released mere weeks prior to the full force of the COVID-19 wave having hit South territories. Bollywood had already been suffering long before having borne the brunt of the second COVID-19 wave hitting its markets beforehand.
Karnan presented Dhanush in an action-packed role and Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, who watched the original, was bowled over by the script and execution, and hence, couldn’t pass on the chance of doing its Telugu remake when the opportunity came knocking. The makers will be announcing the rest of the cast and crew of the film soon.
