Football club “Auda” has not received an A license from the Latvian Football Federation (LFF) to participate in the new league league season, LFF reports on Tuesday.
It has already been reported that LFF A has granted a license to participate in the Premier League championship to nine teams, but two have been denied it. The refusal was received by “Jelgava”, which has already announced that it will not play in the Premier League in the upcoming season, as well as the potential debutant “Auda”. The teams had the opportunity to appeal this decision within five working days, which was also used by Auda.
On Tuesday evening, LFF reports that the Club The Licensing Board of Appeal decided to declare that the decision of the Club Licensing First Instance Board of February 3, 2021 not to grant the LFF A license to “Auda” for participation in the 2021 Super League Championship is legal, therefore it decided to leave it unchanged. LFF has previously stated that Auda has not met the sports and infrastructure criteria of the LFF Club Licensing Regulations.
The start of the new season of the Premier League championship is scheduled in mid-March. It is known that in the 2020/21 season, the champion “Riga”, the second place winner RFS, the bronze medalist “Valmiera”, as well as “Ventspils”, “Liepāja”, Jūrmala “Spartaks”, Jūrmala “Noah” will definitely play in the Latvian football super league. , “Metta” and “Daugavpils”. Last season’s debutant “Tukums 2000 ″ / TSS not started in the upcoming season.
