Seven Yemeni girls drowned, Thursday, as a result of torrential torrents that hit the Al-Mahfad district, east of Abyan governorate, in the south of the country, in a state of astonishment that hit the people. Al-Kafa, Al-Mahfad District, following torrential torrents witnessed by the district.
The sources indicated, according to Yemeni news websites, that the girls are between the ages of 7 and 8 years old, and they are: Sabah Mohsen Ali Humah, Qibla Mahdi Saeed Omar, Waiting Mahdi Saeed Omar, Lamis Al-Khader Nasser Omar, Shumukh Saleh Nasser Omar, Alia Ali Saleh Omar, and Amna Jamal Haidara Mansour.
The sources reported that the families have so far found the bodies of six girls, while the search for the girl is underway. The seventh, and the girls who were victims of the Al Jasha family in the Hasama area of Al-Mahfad.
The last days have recorded human victims, demolishing homes and razing farms and roads in separate areas of Yemen as a result of heavy rains, amid continuous warnings of the dangers of being in the flood corridors
At least seven people were killed by torrential rains that flooded large parts of the governorates of Al-Mahra and Shabwa, eastern Yemen, during the past days.
