WSJ: USA government keeps off on sanctioned Putin’s alleged girlfriend

The Wall Street Journal reports: “U.S. officials have suspended proposals for sanctions against Alina Kabaeva, an alleged girlfriend of of Russian President Vladimir Putin over fears it will be seen as too personal an escalation in US-Russia Relations. Putin has never confirmed that Kabaeva is his girlfriend. Wall Street Journal reporter Vivian Salama joins New day for discussion.
