Wilfried Zaha demands ‘action’ on racist abuse as arrested boy, 12, is released under investigation

Footballer Wilfried Zaha states that “things need to change” after he got racist abuse on social media, as a 12- year-old boy arrested over the event was released under investigation.

The Crystal Palace star was sent out a series of violent messages and racist images on his Instagram account, consisting of one message which checked out: “You better not score tomorrow you black c***”.

Zaha posted screenshots of the messages on his Twitter account with the caption: “Woke up to this today.”
