The voice actor behind the character Wesker is said to have leaked the existence of a Resident Evil 4 remake – as well as an image of artwork.
Voice actor DC Douglas allegedly claimed on a stream that he plays Wesker in Resident Evil 4. These are the Seperate Ways portion of the game, which is separate from the main game, in which Wesker plays no role.
After that, Douglas would have shared new artwork from Wesker to various fans via Twitter, with the message that they were not allowed to make the artwork public. Douglas would therefore have broken his NDA.
It is not clear whether the above events actually happened, but Douglas has since deleted his Twitter account. Capcom has yet to officially announce a Resident Evil 4 remake. The previous three main parts have since been remakes. Earlier this year, VGC reported that the unannounced Resident Evil 4 remake had been internally delayed and would not be released until 2023 at the earliest.
