Special limited edition will reach the brand’s fans later this year

The Ford Puma ST Gold Edition will be a reality and the version created by the brand’s fans will be available for order and delivery at the end of this year of 2021. This model, which will be of limited edition, resulted from an online consultation that defined everything from its name to its appearance.

Over 10 days, fans of the brand participated with around 275,000 votes in a series of polls on Ford’s Twitter and Instagram social networks, choosing the color combinations of the different elements, from the body paint to decals, passing through the brake calipers.

Result of voting was also the designation Puma ST Gold Edition for the first Ford Performance model to feature a design based on public opinion, in an initiative that left Ford Europe design director Amko Leenarts very satisfied.

“In order to create something truly special for our performance fans we have chosen a forward-looking approach, in co-creation of the Puma ST Gold Edition. The number of votes obtained demonstrates the enthusiasm of our customers as well as their excellent taste. It’s all in the details and, through this special edition, our fans have set up a truly desirable product.”

The results of each survey were collected from individual markets across Europe, in addition to Ford Europe’s core channels, before being collated to arrive at a global winner.
