US simplifies Covid-19 travel advisories for Pakistan

WASHINGTON: US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State Department eased government Covid-19 Travel Ratings for Pakistan.

CDC changed this Travel advice Covid-19 for Pakistan to “Level 1: Low” which calls for unvaccinated Americans avoid journey to those locations.

government had on March 16 lifted most of the restrictions – including mandatory self-isolation for people with diseases – aims to stop the spread of COVID-19. Pakistan has faced four waves of infection in in last two years that were effectively managed by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC).

31 March Pakistan disbanded National Control and Operations Center (NCOC)who oversaw the Covid-19 response in country, as the number of infected was the lowest since start of flash early in 2020.

“Today, when (NCOC) closes down I want congratulate NCOC team and his leadership for professional, nationally coordinated response to the pandemic,” said Prime Minister Imran Khan. in but post on Twitter.
