UN chief urges Afghan Taliban to stop terrorist attacks against Pakistan

UNITED NATIONS: UN Secretary General António Guterres on Monday called on to the Afghan Taliban to prevent attacks by terrorist organizations on Pakistan or any other neighboring country from Afghan territory, saying that the UN in discussions with de facto authorities in in this respect.

“We consider it absolutely necessary for the Taliban are not allow any form of terrorist activities that may have consequences in attitude towards Pakistan in relation to any other country of in region”, – said the head of the UN. in response to a reporter’s question about the step-up cross-border terrorist attacks by the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) against Pakistan, as a result in many victims.
