“In summary, the future will be hybrid, giving the vast majority of Ubisoft employees the opportunity to balance home and office work. This is based on our findings over the past year and your feedback; this ‘test-and-learn’ -way we will continue to apply in the future.”
The email describes how some jobs offer flexibility between working from home and working in the office. A small number of positions could work completely from home. However, certain positions require one to work entirely in the office. By looking at what is possible on a case-by-case basis, Ubisoft hopes that team leaders can make the best decisions “to drive productivity and quality and ensure happy and healthy teams”.
In the coming months, managers will determine whether Ubisoft’s offices can open again. Then it must also be determined which functions must be fully present in the office and who can work (partly) from home. The transition to this working method must take place in September, but in some cases it can also start earlier or later.
