The United Arab Emirates has won the hosting of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP 28, which will be held in 2023, according to a vote that took place Thursday during the United Nations Climate Conference “COP 26” which concluded In Glasgow.
The Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, said in a tweet via “Twitter”, “We congratulate the UAE for winning the hosting of the most important global climate conference COP28 in 2023…a well-deserved choice for our country.”

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, said on Twitter: “We are pleased to host the UAE Climate Conference COP28 in 2023.”
