He came to this country to build, to grow and to prosper. And we have an incredible builder and we pray, we pray for our leadership, our president and for our country, that we continue to prosper and to grow.”

Twitter blew up with remarks mentioning Trump’s consistent history of racist rhetoric towards America’s Hispanic neighborhood. Amongst those to voice their objective to boycott the business were Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and former Real Estate Secretary Julián Castro.

Goya and #Goyaway were the leading 2 trending subjects on Twitter on Thursday night. #BoycottGoya and Unanue’s name and title were on the list, too.

Goya Foods did not instantly return HuffPost’s ask for comment.

Oh look, it’s the noise of me Googling “how to make your own Adobo” https://t.co/YOScAcyAnC

@GoyaFoods has actually been a staple of numerous Latino homes for generations.

Now their CEO, Bob Unanue, is applauding a president who villainizes and maliciously attacks Latinos for political gain. Americans need to reconsider prior to purchasing their items. #Goyaway https://t.co/lZDQlK6TcU

No apology from @GoyaFoods will suffice to remove today’s remarks.

If GOYA appreciates the Hispanic/Latinx neighborhood (AND ACTUALLY WISHES TO ASK FORGIVENESS) then they much better start by sending out food to asylum hunters at the border and feed EVERY immigrant Trump has actually apprehended.

The CEO of @GoyaFoods believes we’re “blessed to have a leader” who’s letting this pandemic kill us, cage our children, and continuously dehumanizes us.

Yo Goya, inform your male to stop applauding a racist. Latinos made him and his family abundant by purchasing Goya items for years. https://t.co/KZzUAE3UfE

Time to discover another brand name for my spices! Due to the fact that I truly like Goya’s Adobo, and it’s unfortunate.

However I won’ t be offering my money to this Trump supporting business. Never. Basura. https://t.co/cBTSdPE0Ba

I won’ t purchase their items.

I think Bob Unanue does not consider himself Hispanic. Or dislikes people from Latin America.

My mom’s moms and dads both trace their family tree back to Spain. Their households have actually remained in Colombia for numerous generations.

His hypocrisy revolts me. #Goyaway pic.twitter.com/buvPa1QmQ5
