Trump ghostwriter suggests Trump may have taken documents for sale

“How former Trump ghostwriter (mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa), I feel compelled to point out out that Trump could have taken documents he intended to sell as presidential memorabilia,” Leersen said.

Speaking with Newsweek, Liersen said he saw how Trump earned his money even before entering politics, adding that former the president was no more than “admiration”. Leersen admitted, according to Newsweek, that he had no first-hand knowledge of what triggered the FBI raid, but suggested that Trump might wanted keep the pieces of paper he signed or other collectible items.

Liersen and representatives for Trump did not immediately respond to requests for comment from an insider.

“If there’s a scam to be fooled, he’ll pull it off,” Leersen told Newsweek. “He has it very basic feeling that he could lay it down off on somebody.”

He added that he once had an “immediate feeling” of “Trump’s avarice and his personality”.

“Like everyone else, I watched things get worse and spiral. out of control,” Liersen told Newsweek.
