Transformers Beyond Reality is coming to PSVR and SteamVR this year

Hasbro has announced the virtual reality game Transformers Beyond Reality.

The game should come to PlayStation VR and SteamVR sometime this year. In the game, the Autobots take on the Deceptions. The game should offer first-person shooting action, but many more details about the content are not yet available. However, a first trailer has been shown, which can be seen below. It is also clear that the game will be released sometime before Christmas.

The game is being developed by Meta4 Interactive. This studio was first known as Minority Media and developed Papo and Yo and Transformers VR Battle Arena, but has since changed its name and now focuses entirely on VR games.

Transformers Beyond Reality isn’t the only game being developed around the IP. The ar-game Transformers: Heavy Metal is also due out this year. That game is being developed by Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go.
