Dozens of children in the Yemeni city of Marib, on Tuesday evening, staged a protest vigil to denounce the horrific massacre committed by the terrorist Houthi militia, which killed 21 civilians, including the three-year-old girl, Layan Taher.

The administration of Marib Land Park also announced, on Tuesday, the closure of its doors to visitors in solidarity with the family of the girl, Lian Taher, and denouncing the continuous shelling of the Houthi militia on civilian neighborhoods in the city of Marib, and its repeated targeting of civilians, especially women and children, with missiles.

The terrorist Houthi militia had targeted a gas station in the Al-Rawda neighborhood, killing 21 civilians, injuring others, burning 7 cars and damaging two ambulances that rushed to help the victims after targeting a plane. A car bomb launched by the militias minutes after the missile was launched.

Among these victims was the girl Lian, whose picture of her charred corpse spread like wildfire among Yemenis on the communication sites, and shook the public opinion of the horror of the tragedy.

The five-year-old girl was apparently in a car with her father, when the militia’s missile fell on the gas station, setting fire to the body of Lian Taher Muhammad Ayed, the little one.

This heinous massacre was met with human rights and international condemnation. And it considered it a “full-fledged war crime,” stressing the importance of rapid international action to stop these Houthi crimes and to prosecute their perpetrators. )
