The SMP Solutions smart office project worth over HUF 485 million has been completed. The company received HUF 297 million in non-refundable support from the National Directorate for Research, Development and Innovation (NKFI Office) for development.
The project created, among other things, a mobile navigation for orientation assistance, an application for receiving guests and supporting parking, a solution to support meeting and asset management, facility management and reporting functions. They wrote that office building smart services improve building use, reduce building emissions, but can also support work from home.
According to the announcement, SMP Solutions is working on solving technical problems in the field of IT, banking and security. The NCFI office announced its support in December 2020 when announcing the results of market tenders for research, development and innovation. According to a report posted on the company’s website, the project was scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
According to the latest report, the turnover of the Budapest company exceeded HUF 35 billion in 2020 and HUF 58 billion in 2021. Their overseas sales were significant, around HUF 10 billion in both years, and their profit increased from HUF 3 billion to HUF 4.35 billion.

Asset Management: Query for office equipment based on location becomes available, and the solution sends an alert if they are out of the office.
Object management: Error inquiries and notifications through the mobile app help in building operation adapted to use by specifying the exact location and attaching photos.
HR support: The feature supports employee sign-in and sign-out processes by guiding them to a location. The schedule of office and home work also becomes manageable.
Reporting and analysis functions: collects and analyzes data on the operation of the building, which contributes to more efficient operation and planning for the future.
