The employee is charged in deadly Shooting in a break room at a Maryland factory

Maryland factory worker charged of killing three colleagues and injuring two others people in Thursday’s shooting was blamed with dozens of crimes, including murder, authorities said on Friday.

Joe Louis Esquivel, 23 of Hedgesville, West Virginia was hit with murder of murderattempted murderassault and weapon charges in connection with Massacre in Smithsburg, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

He was behind bars with no bail Friday night, officials said.

Esquivel went to his car To obtain gun after work full shift at Columbia Machine, Inc. Thursday. He returned to the rest room of the concrete goods factory and allegedly opened fire on according to the authorities, colleagues at work around 14:30.

After supposedly killing Mark Frey, 50; Charles Minnick Jr., 31; Joshua Wallace, 30, and after badly injuring another colleague, Esquivel fled in his Mitsubishi Eclipse before being pulled over by state police about ten miles away, police said.

Shootout with two Maryland State Troopers followed. Esquivel allegedly struck one of them and he was shot when they returned fire, the officials said. Both were hospitalized and were expected to survive.

Search of West Virginia alleged killer home turned around up additional firearms, sheriffs said.

Identities and conditions of the injured Columbia Machine worker was not released.
